From the multiple degrees of Fine Art, Visual communication design and Textiles, Chae Young Kim develops her own aesthetics and now she is trying to push the boundaries of digital textiles to create a very new look with the expert and innovative use of digital software.
The unique impressions of her works are arisen out of the subject at the border of two concepts in contradiction, for example real / virtual, analogue / digital and art / design...
From the personal experience of her childhood, she studies the relationship between human and their environment -both of nature and man made- and uses mathematical approaches to the designs using computer graphics with the theme of Urban Camouflage.
